The fractured surface of Europa. An intricate pattern of criss-crossing lines and converging trenches riddle the planets surface.

  1. Great image Gavin. I was out meteor watching last night and was also looking at jupier through binoculars, I could see the 4 Galilean moons, including Europa, (first time I've seen 4) no details they just look like tiny stars but it's impressive all the same.

  2. Thanks! I've been reading up on it a lot recently and came across some great images that I can reference from. Im hoping to buy a telescope at somepoint soon, would love to see all of this stuff first hand. Was lucky enough to catch a look at the meteors the other night as well.
